Lake Mary - the gem of Central Florida
Lake Mary is one of the best kept secrets in the Orlando area
When people think about the Orlando area as a place to live, Lake Mary usually does not jump to mind.
However, although Lake Mary is one of the most tranquil communities in the area, it has recently been attracting some big names in business. Several corporations have either national headquarters, or large branches, including:
- American Automobile Association national headquarters
- Verizon Financial Center (1000+ employees)
- Convergys (1500+ employees)
- Fiserv (600+ employees)
- Deloitte Consulting (1000+ employees)
Additionally, businesses are continuing to announce relocation to Lake Mary.
Living in Lake Mary
Laid back ... but close to the action
The lifestyle in the Lake Mary area definitely tends toward suburban America. Many communities are quiet and off the beaten path; shopping and restaurants are generally located in suburban centers.
When you are ready for adventure and excitement, jump on the nearby highways – Interstate 4, Highway 417 – and you will soon be at the beaches (Daytona Beach 45 minutes); downtown Orlando (30 minutes); or to the airport (OIA 40 minutes). If you enjoy the outdoors, Lake Mary is also close to many parks, lakes, and forest recreation areas.
Tranquil Florida life
Heathrow is a master-planned suburban community located just west of the junction of Interstate 4 and Highway 419 (which provide great access to the Orlando area).
This private, gated community was established in 1985, and incorporates approximately 2,200 homes and over 4,000 residents in a number of individual neighborhoods, nestled amongst numerous lakes and trails.
